HIT OR MYTH: THE PILL AND INFERTILITY
Posted on: August 04, 2017
Being on the Pill does not make it harder for you to get pregnant later, should you wish to be. In fact, it’s possible to get pregnant as soon as you stop taking birth control. This goes for most hormonal methods except the contraceptive injection, which needs anywhere from 6-9 months for the hormones to fully leave your body. The main takeaway is: birth control will not mess with your fertility long term. Not convinced? We recommend you speak to your healthcare provider for added assurance.
